Description:

Blade front sight with detachable hood and ladder rear sight with a P.J. O'Hare cover. "8-31" dated Springfield barrel. Smooth pistol grip stock, arsenal marked "RRA" on the left side, a boxed "P" in the grip area, a boxed "C-SAA" on the right wrist, and a checkered metal buttplate with trapdoor (cleaning kit included). Buttplate and trigger guard are parkerized.

Rating Definition:

Arsenal refurbished. The rifle retains half of the faded blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina with some minor pitting on the front barrel band. The buttplate and trigger guard retain 95% of the parkerized finish. The wood is excellent with some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.

Description:

Blade front sight with detachable hood and adjustable ladder rear sight with the barrel marked "SA / Ordnance bomb / 05". Smooth straight grip stock with the number "671" marked near the buttplate tang which is the only visible marking on the stock.

Rating Definition:

Good. The barrel bands, trigger guard, and barrel retain traces of the blue finish with the balance a brown patina. The casehardened receiver is mostly silvered out, otherwise a mixed brown patina. The floor plate has a mottled gray patina with some minor spotting. The wood is good with some extensive minor handling marks and a few minor gouges, with a chip missing behind the trigger. Mechanically fine.
