Produced without sights, with the barrels set in an over and under arrangement with one hammer, flash pan and a sliding safety which locks both. The flash pan has a rotating tap in the bottom, which cuts off access to the lower barrel vent when turned counter-clockwise. Engraved frame, with crossed scepter proofs on the underside, "UNDERHILL/ & SON" on the left, an array of arms and flags on either side, sliding safety, engraved trigger guard and a bag shaped grip.

Fine, with a mixed gray patina overall, showing traces of the original color and pattern on the frame, along with some handling marks and minimal pitting. The replacement frizzen is brightly case colored. Grip is also fine, with mild pressure dents. Safety will not engage the new frizzen, otherwise mechanically fine.
