Late 18th or early 19th century, English flintlock pocket pistol. The pistol has a 1 1/2 inch screw off barrel with a wrench lug on the underside and light engraving at the muzzle. Each side of the frame shows an array of arms and flags, with "TWIGG" on the left side and "LONDON" on the right. A pair of crossed scepter proofs are present on the underside ahead of the folding trigger, with a lightly engraved flash pan and frizzen, a border design on the hammer, and a sliding safety. Checkered one piece bag shaped grips with an octagonal brass inscription plate.
