Scarce Remington Deluxe Model 121 Routledge Slide Action Rifle

Introduced in 1935, this deluxe example has a smooth bore with a dual bead sights on a vent rib. The left side of the barrel is marked "ROUTLEDGE BORE FOR .22 LONG RIFLE SHOT CARTRIDGE", and standard Remington Field Master markings on the left side of the receiver. Checkered forearm and straight grip stock with a checkered Remington buttplate.

ConditionExcellent. The rifle retains 95% original blue finish showing some minor thinning with a patch of smooth gray patina on the trigger guard and some discoloration on top of the receiver. The wood is fine with a few shallow gashes and some minor dings and scratches with crazed varnish. Almost all of the varnish remains and the checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
