Description:

The lock plate is marked "POTTS & HUNT / LONDON". The barrel has blade and ladder sights, a savre type bayonet lug is present on the right side, and British proofs on the left side. The steel nipple protector secured with a brass chain is included. Smooth straight grip stock with an iron forend tip, two barrel bands, sling swivels, and a flat buttplate. A crown/H proof is stamped on the underside of the buttstock (rear of the lower tang). Complete with an iron ramrod with a swollen head.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrel retains 30% faded original blue finish with the balance a smooth crisp brown patina. The remaining surfaces have a smooth dark brown patina. Overall there is some minor spotting. The reoiled stock is fine with some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
