A) Remington Mark III Signal Pistol

Despite Remington producing over 20,000 during WWI, Mark III signal pistols were not used in Europe, as the American Expeditionary Force adopted the French signal system which used larger 25mm guns. The top of the barrel is marked "MARK III" followed by the two line Remington address. Brass frame with blued barrel.

ConditionFine. The barrel retains 85% original blue finish with some minor spotting and a couple streaks of gray. The brass has a mixed aged patina. The grips are also very fine with some minor dings and scratches, with a minor chip on the left panel near the frame. The latch spring is absent.

ConditionVery fine. The barrel retains 80% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown-gray patina with some minor spotting. The brass has a mixed aged patina. The grips are also very fine with some minor dings. Mechanically excellent.
