Two WWI European Flare Pistols

A) WWI Hebel Model 1894 Flare Pistol

Used by German forces during WWI and manufactured by at least four German and Austrian companies. The left side of the frame is marked "W-a 14" and "AZF / EAXI". Smooth grips with lanyard ring.

ConditionFair. The pistol has a smooth gray patina with some scattered traces of the original blue finish with extensive minor pitting (mostly on the right) and some minor spotting (mostly on the barrel). There are a few small absent chips on the top of the right grip panel, otherwise the grips are fine with some minor dings and scratches.
