Manufactured in 1927. Blade and notch sights, with the two line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and "COLT AUTOMATIC / CALIBRE 25" under the ejection port on the right side. The serial number is marked on the left side of the frame with "1" over the "VP" proof on the left upper front of the trigger guard bow and "99" on the opposite. All nickel finish including the "CAL..25 / COLT" marked magazine and factory fitted with smooth pearl grips with silver Colt medallions. Complete with a scarce factory leather bound case with maroon velvet and satin lining, with gold "COLT" embossed in the lining of the inside of the lid.

Excellent. The pistol retains 99% of the original nickel finish with some minor blistering and flaking under the grip panels. Overall there are some minor scratches and dings. The grips are also excellent with a few scattered minor scuffs and dings. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some edge and corner wear and some light contact wear on the lining.
