This Model 29-2 revolver features a 6 1/2" barrel and factory engraving. The sides of the frame feature a well executed floral scroll and punch dot engraving that extends behind the hammer. The floral scrollwork surrounds the S&W logo and the address on the frame. The engraving featured on the frame is also featured on the barrel, with the engraving around the "SMITH & WESSON" and "44 MAGNUM" markings, and with engraved wedges at the breech and muzzle on both sides and on the sides of the lug. The cylinder chambers and a wedge on the trigger guard are also engraved. The revolver is equipped with a ramp serrated blade front sight with orange insert and adjustable rear sight and is fitted with checkered S&W medallion grips. Nickel with casehardened wide checkered hammer and wide serrated trigger. Complete with a factory wood case and cleaning rod with three bore brushes.

Excellent. The revolver retains 99% original nickel finish with a few of areas of blistering on the barrel and cylinder with a minor cylinder drag line. The grips excellent with the exception of some residue mostly near the bottoms. The checkering is crisp. The case is fine with all of the blue lining missing. The wood shows a few mild handling marks.
