The top barrel flat is engraved "A. Francotte a Liege", the left rear flat is marked "E. LEFAUCHEUX / IN VR BREVETE", the serial number is marked on the lower left side of the frame and there is a "crown / AF" proof on the lower right side of the frame and on the cylinder. The frame, back strap, trigger guard and cylinder are decorated with floral engraving with the addition of geometric patterns on the frame sides. Pinched blade front and hammer notch rear sights, blue finish with bright hammer, ejector rod, front sight and trigger, and fitted with two-piece floral carved walnut grips.
