Civil War Era Lefauchaux Pinfire Revolver

The left barrel flat is marked "E. LEFAUCHAUX INER BREVETE", with the serial number on the left side of the casehardened frame. The barrel has a "Liege ELG" proof. Smooth grips and lanyard ring on the butt. These were used by some Confederate Officers during the Civil War.

ConditionFine. The barrel retains 20% original blue finish with the balance a mottled gray patina with evidence of being cleaned. The cylinder retains 90% original blue finish with numerous light scratches and a few patches of minor pitting. The frame and trigger guard retain 30% original case colors with the balance a smooth gray patina. The grips are good with numerous minor dings, pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
