Black leather exterior, with patent leather crown, visor, bands and chin strap. Vents on either side just below the crown. Brim has large gold plated/brass U.S. eagle infantry horn insignia. Shield on eagle is colored red and blue and there is a circular red, white, and blue painted metal above the insignia. The front of the crown is decorated with a green and cream cloth plume. Underside of visor is embossed with an "A". Interior is unlined and has leather sweat band.
