Description:

1) U.S. Bent & Bush (Boston) Model 1902 Officer's Saber, 34 inch single fuller blade with etched decoration, "Capt. D.B. Clapp" on the right side and "Paymaster/ 1st. Batt'n Light Artillery/ M.D.M." on the left. 3-branch guard, with a ribbed horn grip and nickel finished scabbard. Records show a Daniel B. Clapp as a graduate of the Field Artillery Central Officers Training School on 21 December 1918. 2) U.S. Ridabock & Company (New York City) Model 1860 Staff and Field Officer's Sword, 31" straight blade with etched scroll and patriotic decoration on the sides. Brass hilt, with a folding crossguard, raised floral and eagle decorations, and a wire wrapped rayskin grip. Nickel scabbard with brass American Eagle themed drag and oak leaves on the suspension bands.
