NB - EXCELLENT- near new condition 95% - 98%, used but little, no noticeable marring of wood or metal, bluing near perfect (some wear at muzzle or sharp edges can be expected).

Description:

Made in Germany for the Santa Fe Division of Golden State Arms, these early G3 rifles were only imported for one year as part of H&Ks initial push into the American market. Hooded post front sight, with a 4-position drum rear sight. The left side of the magazine well bears the H&K model marking, serial number and "7/62" date, with the left side of the trigger group bearing Golden State's markings and "S/ E" marked selector positions. Ribbed and ventilated forearm, with a smooth plastic pistol grip, straight buttstock and brown leather sling.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% of the original matte black finish, showing mild handling marks and a few instances of rust in the lower areas, particularly on and around the sights. Stock is very good, with mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
