Manufactured from 1894 to 1935. German silver blade front and sporting rear sights with the top of the receiver and upper tang tapped for sight mounting. Top barrel flat has the two line address patent dates (1887-1898) marking and "44-40". Upper tang marked "MARLIN / MODEL 94". Full length magazine with smooth forearm and straight grip stock with forend cap and crescent buttplate.
Fine. The barrel and magazine retain 80% much faded original blue finish showing some thinning to a brown with some scattered minor spotting. The receiver and lever retain mostly silvered out original case colors with the balance a smooth brown patina. The wood is fine with some minor dings and scratches, and a few minor pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
