This is a fine matched pair of Flobert single shot pistols. The top barrel flat is marked "Flobert Inv teur Bte a Paris". The barrel is equipped with a dovetailed front blade and notch rear sights, all bright finish with trigger guard spur and fitted with a two piece polished horn grip. The pair come in a walnut case with fitted wine colored velvet lined case with gold embossed "FLOBERT / ARMURIER BTE S G D G / 12 BOUL. ST MICHEL 12 / PARIS" on the inside of the lid and iron cleaning rod with a horn handle.

Very fine. The metal surfaces remain bright with some mild edge wear, some discoloration on the muzzle, thinning on the grip straps, with a small area of minor pitting and overall some minor scratches and handling marks. The grips are also excellent with a hairline crack and a couple of minor chips on the lower right rear. The barrel marking is crisp and clear. The action is excellent. The case is very good, most of the fine original lining has faded to brown and there is some minor contact wear. The gold embossing is very fine. The exterior of the case has been cleaned.
