Description:

Hooded post front sight, with an empty dovetail slot ahead and another at the breech, with a rounded muzzle, smooth bore and "N. LEWIS MAKER TROY NY" on the top barrel flat. Frame is unmarked, with a screw absent from the top, a finger rest trigger guard, and a brass post sight base on the back strap. Equipped with a brass tipped ramrod with auger, and pistol grip stock with checkered wrist, brass star inlay on the left, squirrel-engraved patch box on the right and a smooth brass buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very good, showing a brown patina overall, with scattered rust and pitting. Stock is fine, with a mended section of the grip, light dents and scratches, and a mixed brass patina. Mechanically fine.
