Description:

SS Infantry Officer's visor cap with peak front profile. This field gray wool visor has a black velvet band and a black lacquered visor, with white piping and silver cords. A dark silver SS Totenkopf insignia appears on the velvet band with a dark silver Nazi party eagle with out-stretched wings clutching a wreath that surrounds the Nazi Swastika. The interior is lined with tan fabric and has a tan leather sweat band. The standard clear celluloid maker's diamond is marked "57/ Beste/ Qualitat".

Rating Definition:

Very fine. There is light wear overall, with some stains and discoloration of the white piping. Lining is fair with moderate staining overall and some minor wear. Leather sweat band is fair with heavy discoloration/staining.
