Collector's Lot of Two Stevens Single Shot Rifle

A) Stevens Little Scout No. 14 1/2 Single Shot Rifle

Manufactured from 1911 to 1941. Fixed sights on a barrel marked with the standard two line address, model, caliber, and patent dated marking followed by "14 1/2". Casehardened action is marked with a circled "SVG". Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with steel buttplate.

ConditionExcellent. The barrel retains 95% original blue finish with some minor thinning and some loss at the muzzle with numerous minor scratches. The action retains 90% original case colors with the balance a smooth silver gray with some minor scratches. The wood is fine with some minor dings and scratches.

B) Stevens Favorite Single Shot Rifle

Manufactured from 1893 to 1939. Fixed sights on barrel with two line address/patent dates marking. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with steel buttplate.

ConditionVery good. The barrel retains 80% original blue finish thinning to a brown with some mild spotting. The action, breechblock, hammer, and lever retain 95% of the original case colors with speckling of brown and limited minor pitting. Buttplate has a mixed gray patina with some minor pitting. The wood is excellent with some minor dings and scratches.
