A) Stevens Little Scout No. 14 1/2 Single Shot Rifle

Manufactured from 1911 to 1941. Fixed sights on a barrel marked with the standard two line address, model, caliber, and patent dated marking followed by "14 1/2". Casehardened action is marked with a circled "SVG". Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with steel buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The barrel retains 95% original blue finish with some minor thinning and some loss at the muzzle with numerous minor scratches. The action retains 90% original case colors with the balance a smooth silver gray with some minor scratches. The wood is fine with some minor dings and scratches.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The barrel retains 80% original blue finish thinning to a brown with some mild spotting. The action, breechblock, hammer, and lever retain 95% of the original case colors with speckling of brown and limited minor pitting. Buttplate has a mixed gray patina with some minor pitting. The wood is excellent with some minor dings and scratches.
