Description:

Manufactured from 1872 to 1900. Barrel gauges at .25 caliber and is marked with the one line Stevens & Co. address/patent marking on the upper left flat and the number "14" on the bottom flat. Combination beach front and folding ladder rear sights, firing pin in the frame with bushing and iron frame. Barrel and stock mounting attachment are numbered to the gun. Fitted with smooth two piece grips. Complete with a shoulder stock numbered to the gun.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The barrel retains 90% blue period refinish with the balance between a smooth brown and gray patina with some scattered minor pitting. The frame retains 85% original nickel finish with light blistering overall and some light flaking. The nickel finish is taking on a frost appearance. The revarnished grips are fine with some minor dings and scratches and a couple minor dents with some textured varnish on the left panel. The stock retains 90% original nickel finish with some light flaking and blistering.
