Non-factory cutaway Model 8 rifle originally manufactured in 1908. 6 cut-outs on receiver and one long cut-out on the right side of the barrel jacket (making barrel and spring visible). Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with Remington Arms hard rubber buttplate. Includes a Model 8 barrel without a barrel jacket.

Very good as a custom cutaway. The rifle retains 60% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina with some minor pitting. There is a minor dent on the right side of the barrel. The refinished wood is fine with a hairline crack on the wrist (left side), a filled repair near the stock toe, and a hole drilled on top of the comb, along with some minor dings and scratches and a few minor dents. The "naked" barrel retains 80% thinned original blue finish with some deep pitting on the front section.

Manufactured in 1936, the first year of production. Raised bade and semi-buckhorn sights with standard markings. Varnished finger groove forearm and pistol grip stock with vented Jostam Hy-Gun recoil pad.

Very good. The rifle retains 40% original blue finish with the balance a smooth plum patina with some scattered minor spotting. The receiver has a minor dent on the left side. The revarnished wood is fine with some minor dings and scratches.
