Description:

German silver blade front and notch rear sights, with "London FINE TWIST" on the top flat and scroll engraving on the tang and silver banded breech. Engraved German silver lock plate, with "Richd Hollis & Sons" behind the fish head hammer. Checkered stock with German silver fittings, engraved trigger guard, "N.I.H." inscription plate and round butt.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The barrel shows a rich brown twist pattern, with some edge wear, and fading and pitting at the breech and muzzle. The wrist and trigger guard have been broken and period repaired, with some pressure dents and scratches. Does not hold at full cock, but functions otherwise.
