This Mills pattern cartridge belt is tan with 30 cartridge loops and plate with a dog head design on the "H" stamped plate. Has the Mills markings with the 1905 patent date. This brown leather Schmelzer tooled open top, closed toe holster features a skirt with two integral loops with the top loop stamped with the Schmelzer logo. The skirt and body of the holster has a tooled border, with the addition of two floral blossom on the body of the holster at the top.

The cartridge belt is very fine with some scattered minor stains, with a mixed patina on the brass. Tight stitching and weaving. The holster is excellent with some minor handling marks and some loss of the soft leather backing on the skirt.
