Description:

Barrel has the standard caliber marking on the left side, two line address/patent dates on the top, and "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" along with "P" and "R.A.C" on the underside. The frame is marked with the Rampant Colt and long "C" on the left, with "R.A.C." and "F.B." on the right. "R.A.C." also on rear cylinder face and bottom on both grips, with "K" on the cylinder latch. Smooth grips with lanyard ring and "U.S. / ARMY / MODEL / 1909 / No / 41 / 408" on the butt.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The revolver retains 85% plus original blue finish with some minor thinning. There are large areas of smooth brown rust patina present on the top strap, right side of the frame, cylinder and right side of the trigger. There is a noticeable cylinder drag line and a patch of minor spotting on the top strap. The grips are excellent with some minor handling marks.
