Damascus barrels, with a single bead sight on a solid rib, marked "E.C. GREEN & Co. CHELTENHAM AGENTS RUSSEL & HAYDEN JACKSONVILLE ILL", and an extractor. Light scroll engraved frame, hammers, lock plates, upper tang, and underside break lever, with the lock plates marked "E.C. GREEN & Co". Checkered forearm and straight grip stock with buttstock initial oval and flat iron buttplate. The serial number is actually "2086," but the "6" has been overstruck with the number "4," thus making it "2084." LOP 14 1/8".

Very good as modified (see above). The barrels retain much of the Damascus pattern with a smooth gray patina. The remaining metal surfaces retain traces of original case colors in the protected areas (strongest on the water table) with the balance a mottled gray patina. The wood is fine with some minor dings, pressure marks, and scratches, with overall crisp checkering.
