Manufactured in 1939. Fixed sights, with the two line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and standard caliber markings below the ejection port. The trigger guard is marked "X/ VP" on the left side and "75" on the right, with checkered thumb safety and checkered Colt medallion grips. With a brown leather flap holster, unmarked, in the style of the Japanese Contract 1908 holster.

Excellent, with 98% of the original blue finish, with patches of what appears to be minor blood pitting on the left side of the slide and frame, mild edge wear and scattered handling marks. Grips are very good, with pressure dents and sharp checkering. Holster is fine, with cracks, tears and lost stitching. Mechanically very good.
