This is an example of a tool room prototype pistol that is unique for a variety of reasons. The barrel is a Colt Woodsman barrel with the address present and the magazine is a high capacity (extra length) pattern much resembling a Colt Woodsman. Though no documentation is available, one would have to assume that a Colt designer had a great deal to do with this pistol.
