Two Antique Handguns

A) Engraved Unmarked Percussion Pepperbox

No maker markings, with matching serial number on frame, barrel cluster, barrel cluster pin, and both grips. The frame has a scroll engraving which extends to the back strap. Ring trigger and smooth flared butt grips. Most likely a variation of a Blunt & Syms pepperbox.

ConditionFine. The barrel cluster retains 60% original blue finish and the frame retains 30% original blue finish, with overall balance a smooth brown patina. The grips are fine with much of the varnish remaining, numerous minor scratches and some minor dings. Action needs work as the barrel cluster does not always rotate when action is cycled.
