"E. Lefaucheux a Paris" is raised relief engraved on top of the barrel, with the LeFaucheux Paris marking stamped on the left side of the frame. A floral motif is etched on the cylinder, barrel lug, breech end of the barrel, grip straps, buttcap, and spur trigger guard. The serial number is stamped on the right side of the frame with the number "93" on the loading gate and rear of cylinder. Lanyard ring on the butt and smooth two piece grips. Japanese type script is stamped on the right panel.
