Introduced in 1948, this example was produced in December of 1952, according to the barrel code. White front and nickel mid bead sights on the vent rib, with the patent information on the right side of the barrel and the gauge, 2 3/4" chamber and "SKEET" markings on the reverse, and a Remington Special Skeet choke. Fitted with a fine walnut stock, checkered on the beavertail forearm and pistol grip, duck themed grip cap, 13 7/8" length of pull and a serrated Remington buttplate.
