Proofs on the underside of the barrels and watertable. Scroll engraved action marked "A. FRANCOTTE MAKER & PATENTEE / LIEGE BELGIUM" on both sides. Scrollwork extends to break lever and trigger guard with an engraved patten on a matte background on the fences. Double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety. Checkered pistol grip stock with leather covered recoil pad. LOP: 14 1/2".

Very fine. The barrels retain 90% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina with some minor handling marks and some light spotting (mostly at the breech). The action retains 60% original case colors. The wood is very fine with some minor dings and scratches (mostly on the buttstock). There are some very scattered minor bruises in the overall crisp checkering.
