Single brass bead sight, 2 1/2" chambers, choked modified/improved cylinder with extractor. The top of the right barrel at the breech is marked "G. Mariette Argr." and the left "g.r.de Rivoli, Paris". The barrel flats and the water table are marked with various Belgium proof marks, including the Liege and Perron proofs. Blue barrels, casehardened lightly scroll engraved box lock action, double triggers, tang mounted manual safety with gold "SAFE" and mounted with a checkered forearm and straight grip stock with a Pachmayr White Line vented recoil pad.

Very good. The barrels retain 80% original thin blue finish with areas fading to a smooth plum patina. There are a few minor dings and scratches on the barrels. The action retains 80% original bright case colors. The trigger guard retains 75% original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance and the trigger guard tang has a smooth gray patina with strong original blue finish. The wood is very good with a some overall scattered minor dings and dents, and crisp checkering. A sling swivel stud has been removed and the replacement recoil pad is ill-fitting. The markings and engraving are clear. Mechanically excellent.
