"One-of-a-Kind" Modern Cane Gun

This is an excellent example of what a modern cane gun would actually look like today. This is an authentic, completely ATF registered, fully operational modern firing cane gun. The basis for this model is a common all aluminum cane that is used by many, many people today that is commonly found at the local handicap or Walgreens store. The designer cut the shaft in two and inserted a short rifled pistol barrel in the lower section that is approximately 4 inches long with the remaining 14 inches being free-bored and then modified the top half to actually hold the firing mechanism. The lower section or barrel unscrews so that you can insert a single round in the chamber/barrel and it appears that the firing pin is held back via a short steel shaft or button about part way down the shaft. There is s small hole through this shaft and there is a small angel clip on the shaft that acts as a safety. The mechanism (is stuck in the fired position) was probably fired by just pulling the safety clip which would release the firing pin. The top section of the aluminum shaft has been correctly marked: "K.G.S./ Mpls. MN. 55417, next to serial number CG0002/MOD CG1". This modern cane gun is accompanied by a ATF form 4 registration form with the appropriate ATF transfer tax stamp.

ConditionVery fine overall with the cane itself being in the original polished aluminum finish, with the rubberized handle on the upper curved section. As noted the actual mechanism is intact and would appear to be completely capable of firing, however we can't seem to get it cocked. Very interesting current modern cane gun with a very low serial number.
