The carbine itself has an original WWII version made by the Underwood company, the barrel is marked Underwood/Ordnance Bomb/1-44. It has all the late features, such as the type three barrel band, stamped adjustable rear sight, late M2 potbelly stock with four rivet hand guard with the round bolt made for fully automatic firing. So be sure to check with your local laws before you bid on this weapon.

Rating Definition:

Arsenal refurbished with 99% overall of the professionally restored GI type, gray parkerized finish with no metal wear anywhere. The stock and hand guard are also both in like new condition with a nice matching red/brown stain. A very nice example of a WWII M1 carbine that has been professionally converted into a fully automatic M2 carbine configuration.
