A) Unmarked Pinfire Double Action Pepperbox Revolver

No Makers marks, the rear face of the cylinder is marked with a star over "S" and Liege proof marks and the front strap is marked "1931". The loading gate and rear cylinder face are marked with the number "1". Six round fluted cylinder, folding trigger and fitted with two piece smooth walnut grips with a lanyard ring on the butt and cleaning/ram rod concealed in the butt.

ConditionPeriod refurbished. The frame has a purplish tint and the cylinder retains 98% blue finish with some edge wear and some very minor pitting. The grips are very fine with overall a few minor dings and dents. The action is excellent.

B) A. Francotte Pinfire Double Action Pepperbox Revolver

The back of the recoil shield is marked "A. FRANCOTTE / A L NE", and the bottom of the frame is marked with "930" and "DH". Folding trigger, blue finish with bright hammer and trigger and fitted with two piece checkered walnut grips.

ConditionVery fine. The revolver retains 80% original blue finish with some minor scattered flaking, a smooth brown patina on the back strap with some scattered original blue and the front strap is a mix of original blue finish and smooth brown patina. The grips are very fine with a few minor bruises and some minor wear to the otherwise crisp checkering. The action is excellent.
