A) Belgium Double Action Pinfire Revolver

No makers mark, serial number on the lower right side of the frame, "star/Z" proof on the left side of the frame and on the cylinder as well as the Liege proof, the number "2" marked on the trigger and rear face of the cylinder. Blade front sight, ejector rod on the right side of the frame, all nickel finish and fitted with smooth two piece walnut grips with lanyard ring on the butt.

ConditionPeriod replated. The revolver retains 90% nickel finish with some scattered minor flaking. There is an area on the right side of the frame that has been cleaned with an abrasive material. The grips are also very fine with a few scattered minor dents and dings. The action is excellent.

B) Guardian Model of 1878 Double Action Pinfire Revolver

No makers marking, "star" proof above the ejector rod, "MJ" on the back of the loading gate. The cylinder is marked "THE GUARDIAN MODEL OF 1878". Blade front and hammer notch rear sights, 5 round cylinder, ejector rod mounted on the right side of the barrel lug and fitted with smooth two piece walnut grips with "G" stamped on the bottom of the left panel and a lanyard ring on the butt.

ConditionGood. The metal surfaces have a mottled brown patina with some oxidation on the barrel and some minor pitting on the front edge of the cylinder. The grips are very good with some minor pressure dents, dings and scratches. The cylinder marking is clear and crisp. The action is excellent.
