The left rear barrel flat is marked E. LEFAUCHEUX / INVR BREVETE" and the left side of the frame is marked with the serial number. The right rear barrel flat is marked with a "crown/Z" and a circled "B". Crown over "Z" and "L", and Liege proofed cylinder. Scroll engraved side plates and back strap, pinched blade front and fixed notch rear sights, ejector rod mounted on the right side of the barrel lug, six round unfluted cylinder and fitted with two piece checkered walnut grips. The cylinder is mis-matched.
