This is a rare example of a Spanish Baby Hammerless revolver, chambered in 6.35mm. The lower right side of the frame is marked with the serial number, the lower left is marked "CAL 635, the left side rear of the frame is marked with the makers logo "VAHCA over a bull in an oval over REGISTRADA" and the butt is marked "SPAIN". The Vahca Baby Hammerless is briefly discussed in an article written by Frank Sellers, on page 120 of the Gun Collectors Digest, date unknown, a copy comes with the gun. This Baby Hammerless was once in the collection of Actor Gary Burghoff, (best known for his role as Corporal Radar O'Rielly on the hit television series M.A.S.H.). The revolver is accompanied by two hand written letters on Mr. Burghoff's letterhead, 5 of the rarest in his collection (this revolver listed as number 5).
