This patriotic bronze is named "PATRIA" and signed by Emile Louis Picault (1840-1915). Patria, which translates as 'For one's country', shows a classically dressed soldier wearing a steel helmet, with a sword at his side and a spear in his hand. The sculpture measures 37"x14"x11" and rests on a marble base.
