Excellent Early Production Rock-Ola M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine

This is a nice example of an early Rock-Ola M1 carbine. The rear of the receiver is marked "ROCK-OLA" over the serial number and the top of the barrel is marked "ROCK-OLA", "5-43" and "P". The carbine has a blade front sight, early variation flip up rear peep sight, marked "S" on the left side and "BR" on the right, unmarked magazine release, dog leg "KR" hammer, blue flat top bolt and mounted on the First Variation high wood walnut stock with wide groove hand guard, "I" oiler slot and checkered steel buttplate. Additional Rock-Ola markings are present on the trigger guard, operating rod, bolt, trigger and sear. The right side of the buttstock is stamped with a boxed "RMC" and cross cannon cartouche and the sling slot is stamped "RMC". Complete with a green canvas sling. An exceptional early production Rock-Ola M1 carbine!

ConditionExcellent. The carbine retains 98% original parkerized finish with some minor thinning on the barrel. The bolt retains 95% original blue finish showing some thinning and wear from normal usage. The stock is also excellent with some light wear on the left side from the sling and overall a few minor dings, scratches and handling marks. The cartouches are sharp. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
