Excellent Thuringen German Sport Model Single Shot Bolt Action Training Rifle with Sling

Ramp blade and 200 meter tangent sights, with caliber and Nitro proofmarks on the barrel, "Deutsches Sportmodell" in gothic script on the left side of the receiver and "THURINGEN/ DAS GRUNE HERZ/ DEUTSCHLANDS/ KAUFT THURINGENS/ WERTERZEUGNISSE" (rough translation: Thuringen, green heart of Germany, buy Thuringen's products of value) on the receiver ring. Smooth stock, with matching number of the forearm tip, flat buttplate and a brown leather sling. This rifle is pictured on page 252 of Jon Speed's book "Mauser Smallbores".

ConditionExcellent, with 98% of the original blue finish, showing scattered light spotting, patches of brown patina and minor handling marks overall. Stock is also excellent, with pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
