Produced as part of a 3000-piece limited edition. Single white bead sight on the vent rib, with choke marked "MOD", 2 3/4 inch chamber, standard markings and "KB" (May 1981) production code. Receiver is etched and gold accented. Furnished with an extra fancy walnut stock, with checkered on the oversized forend and pistol grip, contrasting rosewood grip cap, untouched gold inscription plate on the underside, 13 3/4 inch length of pull and serrated Remington buttplate. With the original box numbered to gun, and an extra forearm and buttstock set, similarly checkered with a solid Remington recoil pad.

Near new in original box. As usual of a James Tipton gun the stock wood is magnificent. The box has been tape repaired. Both sets of stock hardware are finely checkered. From the James Tipton Collection.
