Description:

Beautiful six gallon salt glaze double handled slave jug with impressed block stamp "6" "N.TRACY" " 1864" on the upper front side of the jug. Nelson Tracy worked in New Philadelphia, Tuscarawas County, Ohio. Large floral design in free hand cobalt blue on the front. Two large strap handles applied to the large spout and to the shoulders of the jug. The jug is in very good condition. H 19" W 12"
