Description:

Beautiful semi-ovoid jar with rounded shoulders with tall collar formed to make a spout. Applied lug handles to the sides and one to the lower front and a large strap handle applied to the middle back of the piece. The jar is decorated with cobalt figure of a cow incised below the cow in script writing under the glaze "My Cow". The remainder of the jar is decorated in cobalt blue in a tornado type design. The jar has a heavy salt glaze glossy exterior. H 15", W 10" D 11".

Very fine condition with minor chip on the base in the back.
