Description:

1) Prussian pickelhaube with spike and eagle front plate marked "Mit Gott fur König und Vaterland" and "FR". 2) Baden pickelhaube with round top rather than a spike and Griffin front plate marked "MIT GOTT F. FUERST U. VATERLAND".

Rating Definition:

1) Very good. The leather shows some deep age cracking (more prevalent on neck guard) and some very scattered flaking. The lining which appears to be a later replacement is excellent, and remains solid. 2) Very good, the leather shows age cracking with deeper cracking on the visor and neck guard and some minor flaking. Overall the lining remains solid.
