Introduced circa 1945. Fixed blade and adjustable notch rear sights with a heavy barrel and standard markings. Fitted with checkered walnut grips. Base of magazine and butt hand marked "CDL R516942", along with "de Soto" on butt. With correct factory box.

Very good. The pistol retains 85% original blue with a strong plum patina on the frame, the grip straps thinned to a gray, and some loss at the muzzle. There are some minor handling marks on the barrel. The grips are excellent with a few minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. The box is fair.
