A) Manhattan Five Shot Pepperbox Pistol

Two line address on left side of hammer and "CAST STEEL" on a barrel flute, with floral scroll engraving on frame. Matching numbers on frame, barrel cluster, trigger guard, and right grip panel.

ConditionGood. The pepperbox has a mottled gray patina showing evidence of having been cleaned sometime ago and some minor pitting. Hammer tension screw is absent. The grips are very good with half of the varnish remaining and a few minor handling marks. Action needs work.

B) Allen Pepperbox Pistol

Left side of hammer marked with the two line 1857 Allen patent, without nipple shield. Matching numbers on frame, barrel cluster, trigger guard, and left grip.

ConditionGood. The pepperbox has a mottled gray patina showing evidence of having been cleaned some time ago with traces of original finish in the protected areas. The grips are fine with most of the varnish remaining and a few minor handling marks. Action is tight.
