Manufactured in 1921. Standard two line address/patent dates (1896 to 1917) marking with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations on the left side of the slide, serial number on the left side of the frame, and "COLT AUTOMATIC / CALIBRE 25" on the right side of the slide. The upper left front of the trigger guard box is marked with the number "1" over the Colt triangle "VP" proof mark, with "99" on the opposite. Casehardened grip safety, thumb safety and trigger. Two tone "CAL. 25/COLT" marked magazine and fitted with checkered grips featuring a "COLT" banner at the top and rampant colt at the bottom. Complete with hinged lid factory box numbered to a different gun and instruction pamphlet.

Excellent. The pistol retains 95% original blue finish with the balance a plum patina. The small parts retain 99% original case colors. The grips are also excellent with a few light handling marks. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with worn edges.
