This is an example of a late WWII Walther last production Mod. PP pistol and late production composition holster. The slide and frame have the late war milled finish with no factory legend on the left side of the slide, with blue finish on both. The right side of the slide has the serial number (382666p) over the wartime code of "ac" for the Walther factory along with the matching serial number horizontally on the frame. There is a small eagle N, proof mark on the right side of the slide, barrel, and the chamber area. The rear sight, hammer, trigger guard, trigger, safety lever and other components are blued. The grips are still that late production black plastic checkered versions with the Walther Banner. There are no proof marks or Waffenamt stamped on the pistol. The slide lacks the indicator pin and has a 60 degree safety lever. The frame has a side magazine release and no lanyard loop on the butt. The magazine still has the wartime blued finish with the a faint Walther Banner on the left side, with the black plastic finger rest/base plate. The pistol is complete with a late war russet colored Type II Holster and spare phosphate magazine which is marked with the Walther banner and caliber marking on the left side and the letter "W" on the right side (a late war stamp to show magazine had not been hardened). The pistol is typical of those confiscated at the end of the war from depots and the Walther factory by U.S. troops.

Excellent, virtually unissued, with 99% of the original late war blued finish with only minor edge and high spot wear with a purplish tint to the frame. The grips are very fine with nice sharp checkering on both sides with exception of a vertical hairline crack present on the entire forward left panel. The holster is very fine with a nice all original color overall, with no proof or acceptance marks and showing only minor age cracking across the top/hinge area of the flap. The spare magazine is also in excellent condition. A very nice late war Walther PP rig.
