Manufactured in 1912. Pinned blade front and folding ladder rear sights, with standard markings on the barrel, including the Winchester oval proof on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech and upper tang. Full length magazine saddle ring and stud mounted on the left side of the receiver. Mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with steel carbine buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Good as refinished. The barrel and magazine retain 60% plus original blue finish with areas of thinning and an area on the muzzle end of the barrel and magazine where the finish has been chemically removed. The receiver has been cleaned and shows spots of cold blue overall with traces of original blue finish in protected areas. There is and extra hole in the left side of receiver which has been filled with a filler screw. The lever and hammer have a smooth gray patina. With the exception of a chunk of wood absent on the front of the comb, the wood is very good with some overall scattered minor chips, dings and scratches. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
